Hi World!
Thank you for your interest in my work and me!
My favorite quote: “Anyone who says you can’t see a thought, simply doesn’t know art.” Wynetka Ann Reynolds, zoologist, university administrator.
In my work, you can see a celebration both of the real and the imaginative. I begin each piece from the inside out. Always in awe of the beauty that surrounds me, like the lines on a magnificent building, the sea, or a smiling child that has mastered something difficult. When I paint my colors, are my words. Layers upon layers build paragraphs that tell a story. When I sculpt, my textures, curves & finishes, speak for me and my thoughts are conveyed as if words on a piece of paper. My favorite tool are my hands, my favorite material is anything I’m working with at the time. I use a variety of materials and processes, yet my result is always consistent. When people see my work, I hope they can identify with what I'm trying to communicate. A piece is done when what's inside, is now in front of me. My thoughts & emotions have taken on artistic form.

My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.
This comes from everywhere & anywhere. Autumn's colorful leaves scattered on the ground, the floral arrangement on the table at a cafe, a tree trunk that has lost part of its bark & has become unusually colored. Beautiful architecture, organic specimens, & even the innocent smile & laughter of a child.
I continue to move my work forward by embracing new techniques and mediums. The latest, welding! Yes, pretty badass, I must say. However, assemblage, cast paper, digital, encaustic, de' collage, freehand brushwork, realism and acrylic painting, are just a few more of my all time favorites.
A textile design degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, a scholarship to Winchester School of Art in England.
